Production Method

Potatura albero ulivo

Each stage of production is in close connection with the landscape, through natural methods that do not involve the use of synthetic products or invasive practices, in order to guarantee a fruit with flavor and aroma permeated by our love for the land.

Pruning is done manually and takes place on a cyclical basis. The pruned branches are reduced to ashes and returned to the earth as a natural fertilizer.

The harvest begins after all the olive varieties have reached the desired ripeness and with the utmost care to preserve the integrity of the fruit and not compromise its exceptional organoleptic properties.

Within hours of harvest, the carefully selected olives are transported to a local mill. With cutting-edge machines, we employ the methods of grinding and cold extraction, in order to guarantee excellence and quality in the final product.

Olio Qucco’s dedication to the environment around us remains solid from beginning through to the end of the process. In fact, we have chosen the BIOLIO DOP bottle from Vetreria Etrusca, an Italian company that sees the environment as an essential asset to be protected and preserved. Laser engraved by a local craftsman, it is made of recycled glass and an anti-fill mouthpiece.
